You said it. I’m thinking that was overwhelmed desk agent and not company policy, but you never know. Air France doesn’t have a huge presence here, but the two desks they do have were getting beat up pretty badly over this policy

As you say, you're booked all the way through with AF and a decent layover at CDG so less chance of a SNAFU. You’re both great folks so karma is with you both!

Shifted to the Chili’s of beers to ease into the flight. Another white for B. Cares melting away.

A couple questions popped in my head as I was reading this. Just how many kids are on that airplane that they need that much overhead space? And what the heck are they carrying on? When my son packs his backpack to go on a trip, it's full of hot wheels and monster trucks. 

 

And does B have this much luggage trouble on solo trips out of the country?

We stroll up, and they’re already boarding. Perfect timing. Our group is next.

We are on the plane. The plane with the tiniest seats on earth. Pouring sweat. Pics are loading at a glacial pace, as cell service is at a minimum. Hopefully WiFi is reasonable and I’m back full on soon, I could use the diversion.
