Very slow check in - but they did reserve a taxi for us at 3:30am tomorrow #killme

Your pickup time seems a bit early. ...the airport doesn't open until 4am.

Depending on the time of your flight, you might be able to squeeze in at least 30 more minutes of sleep!

I had a 6:20am flight, arrived just before 5am and was at the gate by 5:30!  And that included a brief stop at the Ticket Counter to sort out a problem with my ticket. I've always found VC to be chaotic but at 5am it was surprisingly quiet.  By 5:30 the lines were starting to grow though.

p.s.  If your flight is non stop to the US, watch for the overhead sign.

I’m right there with you, but B is very much in dad mode on this one. She wanted to leave at 3! 3:30 was the best I could get out of the deal.

I wish we were direct - we’re doing the same route in reverse, VCE-CDG-DFW

30 minutes on the nose. This is the Murano bus stop…

And I was standing here at our hotel. It’s literally at the bus stop.

Choosing a hotel right by the vaporetto stop is expert Venice/Murano/Burano/Lido travel.  Even more so in Venice proper with all the stairs and bridges.  I'm so excited for your day in Venice!  I wish you were staying three nights.  Don't forget Piazza San Marco after dark.
