Thinking of staying at Residence Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista pre cruise as it seems cheaper than staying close to Port Canaveral. Thoughts??

At least try to find something around MCO instead of so far away in the wrong direction from the port.

Agree. Plus, LBV is deep in the tourist corridor, and as such, subject to petty crimes - car break ins, pickpockets, etc.

🙄Oh please!

Touristy yes, but the the rest is as "normal" as anywhere in the US.

Touristy yes,

That's my point.

All over the globe, street people, petty thieves, dopers, anyone looking to get up to no good know to go where there is a larger population of easy marks in a concentrated area.

As a visitor, it's simply good to be advised and aware.

Just like your caution about cab drivers in Antigua.

Rest your concerns it is not as you fear......No  "street people, petty thieves, dopers, "..... You will be fine.
