Does partial quarantine day count for FCC or reimbursement?

How does Princess insurance handle a partial day in isolation? Do you get FCC or reimbursement for that as a full day, half day, or not at all? Thinking of for covid.

I don't know if this is still a thing. You don't get any credit if you are isolated because of Norovirus.

As far as I know, the day you are quarantined is day 1.  Never heard of a partial day.  If you have an insurance policy, you should check with them for a medical trip interruption. Make sure to get a letter from the ship’s medical of time you were quarantined.

 

There is coverage with PVP insurance for covid quarantine, per their website. It’s under Princess Vacation Insurance.  Move all the way down to FAQ.

Covid, but only if you have insurance.

I was in isolation for Covid.  Went in around dinner time.  They counted number of nights.  I had breakfast and released after spending 2 nights in the cabin.  
 

As mentioned by MANY previous posts, I made sure to get my Medical History ($28).

The PROOF OF ISOLATION - GUEST form I received from Princess had the following information:

• Date/time reported to the medical staff: Oct 28, 2023 11:30
• Date/time isolation started: Oct 28, 2023 11:56
• Date/time released from isolation: Oct 31, 2023 10:00

 

My isolation was approximately two hours less than three days. Princess Vacation Protection credited us for one fourth of the cost of our twelve-night cruise (or three days).
