Potential Security Breach on Princess Website

I can log i n to website now but get a message saying technical problems.

 

FyI- I saw several posts earlier yesterday that someone took a screenshot shot & posted other’s booking info.  It has been removed.

 

 

Please do Not post other’s names or locations on social media if you see them in your account or online.

 

This is Serious.

If I login on the app it's fine. If I use the same login on the website I get my details, but with a new Captain's Circle number, no booked cruises and no cruise history

Listen, fb are posting that they can get in and change others excursions!

 

Keep a close watch to all your bookings.

 

app seems fine right now.

I’ve just come across this thread and thought I’d check my account. Using Safari, no issues via the app. However once I switched to Google and logged in to the website, the welcome was not in my name. Tried again and a different name appeared.

I just went in to pay off my upcoming cruise.  Initial log in was mine. Then it showed other people's bookings and names 4 times. England, Japan and Australia sailings. Not good. I guess I'll ride this out for awhile before trying to pay. My first Princess cruise in 13 years. 😕 3 am CST

ok, mine is fixed.

On app and on website- firefox.

 

Everything is correct-my 2 excursions are there and payments correct.

I have not been able to see anyone elses bookings, like fb friends have.

the app takes me to someone else’s booking in the website- no names showing but a casino comp booking!!! Not mine!

 

it is not fixed!

Has anyone in Europe had this problem?

 

We have MUCH tighter data protection laws here and if it’s happening here they are in a whole world of trouble….

 

I've tried to log in to my booking on the home page. And also by using several links from a Google search to take me directly to a log-in page, trying to bypass the home page

 

all of it takes me to, or keeps me on, the home page. No link to a log-in page is working

 

it would not surprise me if they just completely shut down the ability to log in here even if they were not sure we’re affected

Me neither. Our Data protection laws are much tighter than the US. I think they would shut it down VERY quickly even if they didn’t think we were affected.

 

on a ‘Just in case’ basis, until they had the issue fixed everywhere else

I have the issue when on my iPad in England.  When on windows 

Laptop it works fine.

I just went on chat (UK) as I cannot log in via Chrome. I was told that they know nothing about it but guess that's not true! Eventually, I was told that they will deal with it internally. SUrely they should update the front line staff.

yes I am using safari on the iPad.  Logins were disabled through the night and then re-enabled a couple of hours ago.  It looks like they are disabled again.

think its a little too late to deal with this internally

 

cats out the bag and so the Information Commissioner will have to be informed

 

if they don’t report it, and a member of the public reports it (easy to do on the info commissioner office website) they are in even bigger trouble 😳

I cannot get past the Home page. I am glad I read this Forum, as at least I know to hang fire and hopefully get into my account later.

 

But surely Princess could put some kind of notification on the Home page. How many people must be tearing their hair out trying to Log onto their account.

It has not been shut down.

since early evening Wednesday up until right now- I could not log in on website, but app was fine. Now I can log in on website and all is correct.

Niw the app sends me website and I am in some one else’s booking.

 

I emailed Princess to tell them my situation.

 

fb poster called and was told due to flooding in philipeenes????sp.  no point phoning them!

Well my app  is fine. I only see my bookings but  I cannot log in to the website. Login button either does nothing or takes me to home page

 

Alaska 2026 was going on sale today. DId IT mess something up again while loading the new cruises?
