hdowney Posted August 1 #1 Share Posted August 1 Yes this question mentions both epic and bathrooms but don't panic!!! I am aware of the 'unique' nature of them. I am just wondering if it runs the same way (all separate sections) for the accessible bathrooms? And if it does, how does that work with the shower, is there still a step/lip up to prevent the main stateroom from flooding? If anyone has any pics much appreciated. quillwercruisers Posted August 1 #2 Share Posted August 1 Take a look at this from you tube. If the link doesn't work, I went to you tube and searched Epic wheelchair accessible cabins.
hdowney Posted August 1 Author #3 Share Posted August 1 Ooh this isn't bad at all. And apart from the sink being outside it is more like a standard bathroom than the non accessible cabins. Thank you for this.

Royals Carol Posted August 5 #5 Share Posted August 5 We got a full accessible inside stateroom on the Epic. The shower flooded the entire bathroom floor every time either one of us took a shower. Thankfully we brought an extension cord for the scooter to be plugged into otherwise it would have blocked the bathroom door while charging. We won’t go back on the Epic. That is just our decision but the food, staff etc was wonderful!
ready2cruzagain Posted August 5 #6 Share Posted August 5 As another poster stated, the entire bathroom floods. There is a drainage pipe in the floor all the say around the floor at the walls so the water does not go out into the cabin. As you stated, except for the sink being in the cabin it is just like a regular cabin without the weird Epic bathroom.
