Cab service in Kotor

Stopping off in Kotor from a windstar cruise in Oct.

I'd like to take a cab to Budva, then to Tivat, then back to Kotor.

Anybody ever try that? I was in Kotor before and English wasn't a problem.

What about the other 2 places?

About 2 years ago we pre ordered a cab to visit Kotor and vicinity.We were picked up at the tender dock in Kotor and the driver who spoke excellent english showed us a lot and we had some great conversations. I donot remember how much we paid, but of course you can mail them with your questions.

English won’t be a problem. Unlike in America most Europeans are multilingual

In Kotor our guide told us to be very careful with taxis in Montenegro.

Just in Kotor (last week) where we took a regional but to Budva (about 8 Euros).  There are taxis around the port, but they will routinely quote tourist prices 2 to 3 times the norm.  If one walks to the bus station (less then a mile walk) you will find a long line of taxis that are more likely to charge a fair price.
