Rome Flight Departure

Our ship will be docking at 6am in Civtitavecchia.   we have priority disembark as suite guests.   is making a 11am flight out of FCO cutting it too close?   I'd feel better with a 1pm, but the 11am gives us the opportunity to go nonstop from FCO to Boston.

that's what I was thinking/hoping.   Does it matter at all that we will be heading into Rome on a weekday?   is there a lot of "commuter" traffic from the port area to Rome?

if you look halfway down pg 2 of this forum, there's a thread about arriving to FCO for an 11:40am flight.  Several responses re: even earlier flights, weekdays and weekends.

You aren't heading into Rome to the airport. Its a different direction heading to the airport as opposed to heading into the city.
