Oh, so you like to gamble in the casino.  Enough said.  You still make daily donations.

Some times a donation sometimes a withdrawal. That’s why it is called gambling. I have never lost more than $2,000 in a single 2 week cruise and have never won more than $2,000 in a single cruise  I play slots at no more than $2.50 per spin   I spent 10 years sharing an inside because it was I could afford. Once I found balconies I could I enjoyed sitting out there late night and watching the sea roll by. With reserve dining I know I can eat whenever I feel like it with virtually no wait and have a dedicated service team   I have found that the Morse crowded the specialty venues get the service goes down. If they are packed to capacity every night I hate to think of the service issues.

I'm somewhat of a foodie and do almost all of the cooking since retiring.  It is nice however to go on a cruise and have someone else do the cooking, the serving, and the dishes.

This was last nights choice.  Tomahawk Rib Eye with butter and wine sautéed mushrooms, grilled asparagus topped with Gorgonzola sauce.

I thought specialty coffee drinks e.g. cappuccinos, espresso and such were not included in the base fare? I guess I wasn't clear in my previous posts, but we're doing the Plus package, not Premier. We'll use the $420 we save for the week and put it towards excursions and perhaps an Ultimate Balcony Dinner.

Specialty coffees, etc. are included in the Plus package.

And we invest in a package on every cruise by using the money difference between an inside and a balcony or suite and come out ahead in the long run by spending less money.  All we do in our cabin is sleep, shower and dress.  Instead of relaxing on a balcony, there are plenty of places outside our cabin to relax with an adult beverage in hand.

This time next week, we will be having happy hour on the balcony of one of our 3 mini suites, (weather permitting) as we sail towards Ketchikan. About 5:30, we will move to a bar for a glass of wine (purchased with OBC) before dinner. To spend all of that time in a noisy venue would be sensory overload. 🙉

Happy cruising!

Isn't it great to have choices.  You enjoy your balcony and your glass of wine prior to dinner.  We'll enjoy multiple concoctions at Good Spirits at Sea for a few hours at the end of the evening with the package we purchased.  Guess we'll have to agree to disagree about what constitutes a noisy venue.

So has anyone figured out how many passengers will be booking the new ultimate premier package? 🤣

We have to wait till we ALL get back on a ship, ask the Food and Beverage manager, report back here, then take an average.  😮

That will take a boatload of popcorn on this thread time. 😆
