Quite often on cruise ships there are at least two Blackjack tables; a serious one with a higher ante.  There is also a Blackjack table described as a "Fun table" with a lower ante. On this latter table all the Kings have been removed substantially reducing the chance of the next card being a 10 value.  They also have a second betting option for your first two cards being a pair. Depending on which line then 2x Queen of Hearts when the dealer has a Blackjack you win a jackpot $5,000.00.  This sort of set up is designed to discourage expert Blackjack players in my opinion. It is horses for courses.

So the tables for black jack isn't played like at home? We would play and it was fun closest to 21 without going over wins including whoever deals. Maybe they have a simple game like straight five card stud? Wanted to try a table this trip because it is something I haven't done. But need to go only if they have a smoke free night.

I have not seen any smoke free night’s since the pandemic. One die of slots is smoking 24/7

I love the slot machines (not the penny ones Aunt loved these) but don't think I will get to go next week 😢. Heard on another post they close by 4:00am so my 5:30-6:00 trip there every sea day morning for an hour or so won't happen.

You seen knowledgeable about the casino. I received a $50.00 casino credit no clue why just shows on my booking. Do I need to use this on machines or tables? They have scratch tickets I do buy at bingo.

Must've been nice.  Geez, I did a Vegas trip in September 2020, in the middle of the pandemic.  We had fewer seats at the tables and plenty of plexiglass...and had to wear masks....but those knuckleheads still allowed smoking!  I still can't believe it.

This is exactly how the Blackjack tables work.  However if the dealer finished on 17 (and they are required to continue getting more cards until they get 17 or more) and there are four players with 18, 19, 20 and 21 and one with 16 and one with 17 ALL the four top numbers players get paid out as winners, the guy with 17 has a "push" not won or lost and his money stays without being forfeited. Only the guy with 16 would lose his money.

The "fun" tables are played exactly the same but void of Kings.

It has to be the slots or tables, not Bingo, sorry 🙂
