Rare Windsurfboy Posted August 31 #1 Share Posted August 31 I know on website it says premium wines available by glass. I've only seen list by bottle. Any body seen it by glass, Reason I ask is I like red , wife is a bubbly drinker, but neither will drink a bottle each per night. We also rarely eat in same restaurant 2 nights in a row. Yes I know there is included wine , but it's a holiday and treating myself to wine is peanuts compared to cost of cruise. Last cruise solved it by being good and drinking champagne with wife. JoJo1947 Posted August 31 #2 Share Posted August 31 Premium wine is by the glass if you ask for a wine in the dining venues or bars. If you want a whole bottle to yourself ? As I don't drink alcohol 🤷

I’d have thought they would keep your bottle for a second night and arrange for it to be in the correct restaurant ( as advised by you) if this was requested. Might be worth asking
nosapphire Posted September 1 #4 Share Posted September 1 Certainly seen others in the various dining rooms having drinks by the glass brought from the bar. Can take a bit longer as the dining room waiter has to get a bar steward to come (with the wine list or with the drink, depending if you know what you want). Whether this applies to all premium wines or only some - you'd have to ask. My experience with Saga is if something is not listed as an option to just ask. They are usually able to accommodate. JMMKUK Posted September 3 #5 Share Posted September 3 Never seen anyone have premium wine by the glass but they will take your bottle to whichever venue you are in. We have dined several time with guests who do this.
