CaptainAhab1221 Posted September 2 #1 Share Posted September 2 Can anyone confirm if there is a formal night on this cruise? Also, what night of the cruise if there is one? Thanks in advance!

long time lurker Posted September 2 #3 Share Posted September 2 Can you tell me how to set the app to the current sailing please.
smokeybandit Posted September 2 #4 Share Posted September 2 If you want to dress up, you don't need a formal night to do that. If you don't want to dress up, then that's fine, just wear what you want on formal night like many others will.

long time lurker Posted September 2 #6 Share Posted September 2 I can “shop” for another cruise, but the current sailing does not show. I would like to look at menus in the dining room, but do not seem to be able to.

If you are in your current sailing, click on the calendar (top of the page left of the person icon) and look at the bottom for the change ship/date link. The menu will be available once you switch to current sailing.

My guess if there is a formal it will be 2nd night, but I doubt it. Might you be going the 16th? 1st night is Prime Rib and 2nd night Beef Tenderloin amoung other options. Happy sailing. long time lurker Posted September 2 #10 Share Posted September 2 Thank you @Justmekaren918 We are not traveling until October. We have been away from Royal since 2019 so unfamiliar with the current rotating menus. Just hoping to get an idea of what is available.
Justmekaren918 Posted September 2 #11 Share Posted September 2 It should load in the app shortly. Just go over to MDR and they'll be listed or Google 2024 menus. I too am a little lost, because I haven't sailed since 2019. Thankfully I was on Ms.O last, so both are very similar. Happy sailing.
janabellev2.0 Posted September 2 #12 Share Posted September 2 The current sailing has 'Tonight's Attire: Dress to Impress' on night 2, confirming what @Justmekaren918 was seeing in the menus.

I am unable to find that link Press on the little triangle arrow underneath the calendar icon at the top of the page (above where is says "Miami, Florida" and "Day 1." You'll then see the itinerary of that sailing pop up, and at the very bottom of the itinerary list, is a button that says "change ship/dates"
