I would love to see this at home on Pier 21 but can understand why Katie's Seafood objects to the location.  Last time I ate there I don't remember any particular view other that other tables but I'm sure somewhere, sometime, some diners get a view of the harbor.

 

What's the local opinion of this move?  Are locals happy or would rather not have another tourist draw?

We're looking for something to do in Galveston on a January 2025 Sunday morning... It looks like the Batleship Texas won't be an option yet. According to https://battleshiptexas.org/news/faqs/ Tours will hopefully start "late 2025". 

I hope it will still be in it's current location because it will be interesting to see from pier 28.
