It was a pleasure meeting you both.
I was able to secure 1230 reservations for both Teppanyaki and Butcher’s cut on our two sea days.
went back and showed my DW my exciting gift and exchanged a warm watered down welcom aboard margarita for a cold delicious sidecar.
no soon had I rejoined my DW and taken two sips when they came up and told us our room was ready.
so we went to our room, organized our carry on items and are now debating about lunch.

i love my gift from BCD!

Did @Best cat Dad divulge that his 'trouper' wife must down 15 Champagne bottles for enough product for each vehicle ? ( he has plenty of spare tires )

We did lunch in the YC restaurant and it was very good.  I had the Cobb salad and my DW had the Asparagus Pana Cota.  We both cleaned our plates.

For our main course my DW had the Rockfish Stew and I had the Beef Tournedos.  I like my beef, despite it having been cooked past the medium rare I requested.   My DW was not a fan of the Rockfish stew as she was expecting more of a soup style dish.  I paired my beef with an excellent Australian Syrah that I do not recall having before.   We both skipped our desserts after I remember our middle grandson was playing football and we at least wanted to catch the second half of his game on the internet.

A little food porn.

A nice Australian Shiraz to go with the beef

And who does not like pizza when enjoying football.

DW's and my record is 6 glasses of champagne each before lunch on embarkation day.

You both are way ahead of me.  I managed three.  One ashore and two in the TSL, one of which went to lunch with me.

I have to confess that this "record" was due to the fact that the ship was slow at zeroing out departing passengers causing a longer wait time in the YC pre-boarding area.  Butler kept on pouring and we kept on consuming.
