It's a relatively popular holiday destination. and the recipient of a fabulous coastal road part financed by the EU as Reunion is of course, part of France.
longton Posted September 27 #27 Share Posted September 27 We did the Hong Kong to Cape Town leg of the world cruise in April 2019. We called at the Seychelles, Mauritius and Saint-Denis, the capital of Reunion. Interesting stops and all very different.
Planning to cruise Posted September 27 #28 Share Posted September 27 On an Indian Ocean voyage on a small ship our calls included both Reunion (where we visited volcanoes) and Mauritius and also Mayotte in the Comoros Islands, Zanzibar and Madagascar - where one of our number was bitten by a lemur! Looks like the new 2026 world voyage itineraries are now there on both the Cunard UK and US websites. You have to request "Sold out voyages" to see the new QA 2026 world voyage though. 1
Emmerdale3228 Posted Thursday at 02:58 PM #30 Share Posted Thursday at 02:58 PM Hi I am also travelling on QA for the 2026 world cruise sailing. The itinary has changed so much I would rather cancel the cruise and do something else. Does anyone know if Cunard are allowing cancellations with a full refund. My agent said its transfer only , no refund.🤨
Planning to cruise Posted Thursday at 04:47 PM #31 Share Posted Thursday at 04:47 PM I think your agent is probably right. After sailing on QA we decided to cancel a further long booking on her. I would have been happy to have the deposit back for other things but DHs suspicions that it was lose the deposit competely or transfer it to something of the same or equal value was correct. We transferred a booking onto QM2. 1
