our Athens tour was great! Long but full of historic insight. We hit the Acropolis early before major crowd came then drove to the county side for a great Greek barbecue lunch with endless wine!🥂

 

After lunch we went to Poseidon’s temple. Such great views!

Looks better than the Getaway Transatlantic right now. We missed the Azores due to Kirk and are watching Malone head right at our house.  Sigh

All is well.  Will be sailing on the Getaway, along with the OP and a few other CC notables, in February, then a big one to the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand in 2026 on Princess.  Please give my regards to Mrs. Coach!

We had dinner at the Haven and hung at the bar for a while before calling it. We were both beat from the long day.

We cancelled our Mykonos tour because the more we read it the more it sounded cheesy. We shall see what the day brings.

Everyone we spoke to said that there is not much to see here other than shopping which we are not interested in. We are staying onboard and enjoying the drink package and sunshine.

If you go in early before crowds it can be a nice walk in the narrow streets, but otherwise not so fab. Looks like Milton lost force and was down to a 1 by the time it impacted our area. No damage report yet, still early. Cat may not be floating on a chair cushion 😸😁

Spent the day in the Haven enjoying the pool, hot tub and bar. So relaxing 😎

Yeh we heard that from folks who had been here before so made a better call to relax onboard. We have been go go go all week. 🥂

We adore our Haven bartenders! Indra is extremely talented! He created some new drinks for us and we named them as follows:

 

The Love Affair - A light vodka raspberry flavored martini A++++

 

Show Time  - A gin martini with thyme. It is an amazing light refreshing martini with a lemony taste. He won’t tell us what is in it.

Corfu today. We are not sure why the ship only went there the first and now last cruise of the season. Odd. Also, we have noticed a constant shake on the ship no matter the speed. We have to jam up the master bedroom door with a towel so it doesn’t rattle all night. We are wondering if something is wrong with one of the props or something. Anyone have any ideas?

Great timing on thus tidbit.  I was just considering talking DH into an Aft balcony on Epic in May.  I think I’ll hold until I do more research.

Corfu has a quaint town and fort but our tour was a dud. Our guide was not very good at all, The lunch was bad, couldn’t drink the wine it was so sour and they had way too many people on the tour for the size of the place. The palace was a large house and not worth the drive. I’d nix this one if you are considering it. We wound up canceling most of our upcoming NCL tours and are booking private or going out on our own. Too peopley for us.

IMO it’d  be best to catch a bus into the mail town and go on your own. Cute shops, restaurants and things to see on your own.
