Paper vs Electronic boarding pass

The days of hardcopies are (almost) over.

Many companies make it easy for customers to check-in by showing a barcode/QR-code on their phone or mobile device.. the code is scanned by the agent when checking-in.

Most major airlines don’t require printed tickets anymore.

Emirates Airlines uses a combination of QR code in airline APP and face recognition at the airport.

Apple streamlined the ordering process and uses the barcode of the confirmation downloaded to the Wallet APP.

The chance that a cellphone suddenly stops working is lower than misplacing or losing a piece of paper.

Everyday life is changing.. if we like it or not 🤔
