madforcruising Posted April 1, 2006 #12 Share Posted April 1, 2006 One big factor you have to take into account when asking this questions is shore Excursions. If they are booked in advance or booked onboard. If booked onboard the amount can be significantly higher than if prebooked and paid already in advance. Linda8818 Posted April 1, 2006 #13 Share Posted April 1, 2006 $130-160. Bought only a few drinks, did not do any ship excursions, did not buy any photos. We had concierge club so the drinks were free at happy hour, booked independent tours (cash) and none of our photos came out so good :(

zeldaone Posted April 1, 2006 #17 Share Posted April 1, 2006 I am new to cruise critic and can't find the answers to my posts. I was wondering about excursions in Europe. We will travel on "Brilliance of the Seas" the end of June, 2006. Any tips on great spots to see in those ports? One big factor you have to take into account when asking this questions is shore Excursions. If they are booked in advance or booked onboard. If booked onboard the amount can be significantly higher than if prebooked and paid already in advance.
shellden Posted April 1, 2006 #18 Share Posted April 1, 2006 Our bill would be between $500-$600 drinks, photos, spa and purchases. Tips would be in cash. We usually book private excursions or take a cab to the beach. We cruise with two kids or sometimes alone bill will always be about the same. johnjen Posted April 1, 2006 #19 Share Posted April 1, 2006 #6 for me. We spend around $200, and this time around it had better not be on Johnny Rockets and video games!
dizzy205 Posted April 1, 2006 #20 Share Posted April 1, 2006 11. and we buy no pictures. That darn casino-- we will close to AC and still can't get enough :( But we plan and save for it. We always have enough for all the fun we intend to have.
texancruzer Posted April 1, 2006 #21 Share Posted April 1, 2006 Also # 11 for two people. First cruise $800+ not incl one ship excursion. Drinks, casino, spa FOR 2, tips etc. Rest of excursions were "on our own" Second cruise $ 600+ not incl one ship excursion. These were charges on Seapass for expenses during the cruise onship only. Tips, wine pkg, drinks, casino, pictures, minifridge, and a trinket souvenier from shop onboard.

Inshape Posted April 1, 2006 #23 Share Posted April 1, 2006 number 1: we do our own excursions and we had onboard credits of 150. So we used that and only spent 20 of our own money, and this is not counting tips.
