tempoct Posted April 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2006 My National Park Pass is expiring in May and I probably will not get a new one until July (I will get a new one at Kenai Fjord NP). Don't wanna get it early coz it will expire in 1 year and I don't have plan to go anywhere before the upcoming Alaska trip.:p Is it OK? Coz when I actually get on the bus, I will be using different National Park Pass number.
Budget Queen Posted April 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2006 Will you be going to Denali Park on a valid pass??? After Seward?? I was in line last year picking up my shuttle tickets and they were checking the passes. Aren't these a cheap pass anyway?? Do you have plans for next year in June to use it??? tempoct Posted April 16, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted April 16, 2006 I'll have a valid pass when I visit Denali but the pass number will be different than what I booked. I will visit Denali after Seward. Next summer (late May, early June), I will lauch my cross-America road trip with my girlfriend, so I will need it next year :) I'm not sure if I can book like that? So I can use my pass a little longer....
Rare Coral Posted April 16, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2006 I would call the Park Service to be sure. I think as long as you have a valid card - you will be fine (they must understand renewals).
