Eastern Car: Mid November: Weather

Thinking of the Star for a Nov. 11 cruise. Am I taking a chance re weather and storms?

Yes - there can be a hurricane all through out the month of November. We sailed over Thanksgiving during a hurricane. The hurricane went East, we went West. Would I do it agian - yes. The ship will be re-directed so you won't be in the line of the hurricane. I would just be prepared for possible itinerary changes - if you are ok with that - you will be fine.

Temps will be in the 80's during the day, low 70's at night. Nov. is the end of hurricane season, still a chance, but not likely. Fares are low this time of year. Go and enjoy !

We sailed last November from second to forth week. It rained ALMOST every day in the Eastern/Southern Caribbean.

BUT, you just never know what good old mother nature has in store. It could also be absolutely beautiful. It is just one of those things that changes from year to year.

 

We also hit our largest Hurricane the first week in November a few years ago.
