Sunbathing locations on Voyager Class ships

Recommended Posts

Just wondering where the sunbathing locations are on the Voyager Class ships, in addition to directly around the main outdoor pool. Are there other decks with lounge chairs, for example? (Areas with fewer kids and more available seating?)

We don't need to be anywhere near the pool and are unfamiliar with the layout of the big ships. It's kind of hard to tell from the deck diagrams on the web site. Where else can we go?

In addition to the pool deck (deck 11) all of deck 12 and there are areas that go up from 12 that would be equivilent to deck 13 but they are partial decks. They tend to not be crowded and quite quiet. If you see stairs going up as you walk deck 12 just take them and explore.

If you don't have to be right by the pool, there are plenty of lounge chairs up on the Sky deck. You shouldn't have any problems even on sea days unless you insist on a specific location by the pool or in the Solarium.

As noted, there are a lot on deck 12 which is less popular.

Last winter I saw a guy laying out there in full sun mid-day, he had the WORST sunburn I've ever seen. So bad it had to have happened the day before but he was still laying out. That sunburn was so bad, if it was a friend I'd have taken him to the doctor...........

If you go all the way forward, there are several lounge chairs at the bow of the ship on the same deck as the jogging track. Very quiet, away from the crowds.

The jogging track is on deck 12. Deck 12 is nowhere near the bow of the ship.

Thanks to all who responded. Sounds like since we don't want to be right near the pool, we'll find some chairs with no problem.
