What would you like to see on the new Celebrity ships?

I believe there well be no major changes to the present Celebrity image. I imagine a ship much as the M-class with larger staterooms, perhaps a third lounge similar to C-class ships.. but with a larger dance floor. I could see a separate free style restaurant but still emphasize traditional style dining.

Celebrity will never have a laundromat onboard because it will lose its 5 star designation.

HAL uses small ships for exotic itineraries. Solstice will sail where the passenger demand is greatest. I believe it will cruise the Mediterranean or Baltic because fares are higher, Caribbean after hurricane season and back to Europe in the Spring.

I can't see Solstice class ships have any affect, including a lounge, for Captain's Club perks.

New itineraries might affect other ships in the fleet but I can't see the demand for anything exotic on this scale. Even South American itineraries are discounted for lack of passengers.

I don't expect anything more than a very nice M-class ship with more reliable power hauling nearly a third more passengers....

I'm just hoping for better art work... ;)

I would like to see a regular indoor pool (not the T pools) like on Royal's Radiance class and I like the idea of the jazz club, that would be nce.

I also agree with you it would be great to have reliable pods. They have had way too many issues it seems with the pods.

no art or wine auctions. Too much opportunity to take advantage of the passenger and the art in the hallways detracts from the design of the ship.

A super CC level that includes all liquor and soft drinks. This is more like the upscale lines and I saw that Regent is now incl. drinks in their pricing. This could also incl. specialty dining.

Better morning newletters with news and less announcements about bingo.

Honest shopping info. Not those shops that kick back to the cruise lines. Real guides to best prices for booze, clothing, local arts and crafts, jewelery, etc.

C'mon, Arno...I LOVE X's art collection. But, then take a look at my avatar.

Ballroom dancing seems to be making a comeback. Maybe they'll add a mini ballroom type lounge. Though, maybe that's not really their style. I'm having a hard time thinking of things I would like them to add. Perhaps an adults area Sanctuary like on the new Crown Princess (though they do charge for it).

Self service laundry

Smoking confined to a single enclosed area on the ship (no balconies, no pool area, no casino smoking)

Fewer overhead announcements

Better wheelchair seating in the showroom

More wheelchair accessible and vistable cabins
