Thanks for the news, shoreguy!

Anyone who's getting that page in German may want to try clicking on the flag at the bottom right hand corner, or simply on this link - http://www.meyerwerft.com/news_event.asp?what=news&id=-1&lang=e - which should go directly to the English page.

As usual, I will put the collected webcam pictures together after she leaves the dock. (I hope I can still find some webspace somewhere!)

Pity the webam only updates once per week.
I know. It's especially frustrating when the other building dock, where AIDAdiva is being built, has one that updates every 15 minutes - although that's not accessible via the Meyer Werft website either.

I too am very excited to see the Pearl coming together and looking forward to our Jan 19th cruise with her.

Shoreguy - Based on your expereince can you guestimate when NCL will have all the promotional photos of the public rooms and staterooms avialable on their site? I see that they're using the Jewel photos for now but I'm looking forward to seeing hte real thing:D

Looks great. Thanks for posting! Isn't she supposed to be sailing soon? Or I should say undocking...I thought it was early October, or maybe it was November?

I'm with you ScoobyJuls...can't wait for next June! But I'm also just eager for December so some CCs can post some pictures for us. :D

Shoreguy---will you or your 'group' be running a blog in Dec?? Pictures?? Maybe we should take up a collection of money for the internet cost, not casino, to help post??:)

Maybe we should petition NCL to give us free internet time to post blogs and pictures of their new ship :D We'll certainly be taking lots of pictures (even bought a new camera!).

Free internet would be nice but I will still post daily from the ship. Already started the blog to post. Stay tuned for adventures in booking or "The Long Road from a Cruise Only BA to an AB with Air and 2 Nights Hotel":o

When it undocks will it no longer be visual on the shipyard website? What happens to it after that?

Shoreguy- does the Dawn and the Pearl meet at all during the week of Feb 18th in the Carribean?

In the past, a German photographer named Andreas Depping will usually post pictures that we can view of the entire undocking process. Also, Meyerwerft often posts photos of the ship's passage down the Ems River later.

OHHHH - real pics?! After 3 months of viewing and reviewing the artists renderings on the NCL web site and wondering how close to "reality" they were, before you know it we'll be seeing the "real deal".

Shoreguy - I'm in an AB on 4/13/07 sailing of the Pearl and hoping you'll take tons of pics of your AB! Unless you upgrade to a Courtyard villa before the sailing:D . We've made it known that we would be highly interested in an upsell to courtyard suite - I LOVE those loungers poolside and the private jacuzzi.......
