coupon books

Recommended Posts

You hand it over with your Sea Pass card when you make an appropriate purchase and the amount will be reflected on your Sea Pass account (bar, salon, spa, etc.)

When you are a C&A member, you receive coupon books in your cabin from your cabin steward, usually on boarding day. Depending on your level, the booklet will contain discounts on various things, like 15% off a salon service.

How do I redeem the coupons? Do I hand them to the bartender, etc.? Or do I have to take them to the desk to get a credit issued against my account? What about the internet coupons?

The internet coupon you need to take those to the desk to set it up! I used the coupon last year but fair warning the computers are VERY slow and you would be surprised how fast your minutes will go!

Good luck!

Can someone tell me what all is in the coupon books? I will have one on my cruise Nov 30 but have no clue what I'm looking forward to. I don't want to get my hopes up too much.

You can search ebay under Royal Caribbean Coupon books and there are pics and descriptions of the discounts. Put this ebay item ID in your search and it will go straight to one: 160042079624

One per stateroom!

There are coupons in there that have a percentage off of a spa day, free drink, internet coupon, there are also some buy one get one free things also. It has been almost a year so it is hard for me to remember! I hope this helps!

There are free drink coupons, casino credits, discount on a spa service, discount on giftshop purchases, internet voucher, free wine tasting, free something at Ben and Jerry's, a coffee coupon (not sure what it was I don't drink coffee) and a coupon for Johnny Rockets. These discounts depend on your C&A level. The higher you are the bigger the discount.

Are these mailed to you before the cruise or are they in your cabin? When should I expect mine? We are traveling Dec. 3rd. Thanks, ~Barb~

They should be waiting for you in your stateroom when you board. If they aren't, ask your stateroom attendant for yours.

Nope, one per C&A member.

When I travel with my best friend, we each get our own and since we are different C&A levels she gets a Gold book and I get a platinum book (next cruise together it will be Platinum and Diamond).

Be sure to get your $2.00 from the casino:D ! All you have to do is go up to the cashier and hand over the coupon and she will give you back $2.00 or 8-quarters. I should go get our $4.00 and stay out of the casino that will be the only way I come out ahead:rolleyes: .

Last year I was the only one of our party of six who researched before the cruise and joined C&A prior to the cruise. Everyone was very jealous of my daily gifts but we used all the coupons and never had any problems. When we cruised Carnival two years ago we won a puzzle game and had issues receiving everything from a free coffee mug to the art work (we actually had to pay to have it shipped home which turns out was more than what you can buy the print off ebay from someone else who "won" the free art work). One more cruise and we'll be in the next bracket, i can't wait to see how much the discounts go up!

I was going to ask a lot of the same questions. This will be my second time sailing on Royal and was wondering what you get and how you get it. I booked through a travel agent who says that part of their deal was a coupon book with $120 worth of coupons in it. I'm wondering if that's the same coupon book. There are three of us sailing, but I'm the only C&A member. Just wondering if anyone else has gotten a coupon book from an agent and if it's the same.

I don't know if every TA uses the same coupon book offer, but "worth $120" is more than stretching it a bit. Most of those coupons you won't even look at twice. The C & A book isn't "fabulous" at gold level, but you'll get more use out of that, I would predict.

Most of your TA's coupons will involve spending money to save a little money, like a 10% discount on a picture if you buy (one, two, three, whatever) pictures with it.

On the Serenade in Sept. the cashier would only give us two $1 coins..no quarters! Said it was new policy. ???
Del, was this two REAL one dollar coins, or ship's casino coins?

I also received a coupon book from my TA and it really wasn't worth much at all. I'm hoping the C&A one is better. The TA one had only one coupon I'm even interested and that's buy one glass of house wine and receive one free. Otherwise it was % off spa or 1 8x10 free if you purchase 3, free art work if you purchase at auction and there was one other that I can't recall at the moment. Really not worth anything to me.
