Now, I'm worried about my luggage...:( . I do give DH a few things to pack in his suitcase...and we do have insurance but still...makes me wary. We have 3 stops to get to Rome...no telling what could happen. I flew from DFW to Houston 2 weeks ago and they lost my luggage. I wanted to ask them why I could make 15 overseas trips and never lose my luggage and can't get from Dallas to Houston...but I was afraid I'd jinx myself with my attitude..;) Have a good cruise and keep everything running smoothly for us! Linda don't worry things will be alright with your luggage I am sure. In my case it involved a last minute cabin change/upgrade that cause the problem and also me not insiting that I re-tag my own luggage instead of thsi Rep taht used disembarkation tags and wrote only my nerw cabin number B751.

 

Looking forward too meeting you as well as the others in 9 days in Rome!

Tony - just stopped by to say hi and tell you we miss you. Sounds like you got a fantastic upgrade:rolleyes: but does it have a water feature;) like our balcony on the Pacific?

 

I was able to view your sail away from Venice on the Golden webcam on the Princess website. Wish we were there with you.

 

Are both you and Javier doing all 3 legs on the Royal next November? Right now I have you both staying on from Athens to FLL. Let me know if this is correct. (Have you given any more thought to joining our second seating table with Tom, me, Stacey, Wally, Amy and Ellie? We have the same TA so it would be real easy to link bookings.

 

Have to close and get ready for little ghosts and goblins. I know our little Grand Kids will be here trick or treating (school night and bed time is early).

Tony, glad to see you are enjoying yourself and thanks for the minute by minute updates. It's nice to read about something when you know you'll be on the same ship staring November 10th.

 

I was thinking...not bad for a blonde huh...maybe if you are still in your AWESOME UPGRADED SUITE...we could have the two Egypt overnighter group's together prior to the Egypt portion of the cruise in your HUGE new cabin space. The would include both Vicki (Andiamo) and Cindy (cjpj).

Any thoughts on this? Not trying to be forward, just trying to see how the other half lives...lol.

Have you heard anything about how full the ship is for the 10th? From what I am seeing online they have balconies and oceanviews discounted.

It might be that you will have that giant balcony a bit longer.

Judy, the next sailing is NOT oversold actually...there are cabins still available as you can see...aprox. 25 cabins or so still left. I am actually surprised, as I thought this sailing would be oversold and they would have been buying people off but not the case.

Yes, Arlene and Milt prefer early seating and I wish they had a 7:30pm seating because I am kinda in the middle! Javier could eat at 10:00pm if he could...but that's the "latin" in him!

Judy, that's what the ship did immediately is chekc my old cabin first, but it still remains unoccupied.

There is a boardwalk area in Civitavechhia all along that runs until the train station...but I never noticed about the Flowers?

Of course we usually don't do the shows as we like to linger over a good cup of coffee or after dinner drink and maybe hit the casino. . . Ooops I mean office.

Thank God my cabin doesn't have the overhead sprinkler going off like yours on the Pacific Princess!

 

Lorraine the sailaway from Venice was amazing....I need your photo services onboard this cruise as I am taking pictures like crazy.

 

Yes, that is correct Javier and I are on all 3 segments from Athens until Fort Lauderdale, however we will be getting off on the last stop before Fort Lauderdale in Dominica because he wants to go and visit his Mom in Havana, Cuba for Xmas and saves us from flying back down from Canada.

Stacey, same here...I don't do the shows but rather go to the "Office" Javier does ALL the shows or a movie and then comes and finds me in the "Office".

 

 

Speaking of the "Office", it was pretty dead in ther last night and I would have expected for Halloween that it would have been "rocking"....Oh well more $$$$ for me....I did quite well!:D
