kazooie11 Posted November 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2006 I'm curious about how the promowave promotions with state-specific promotional fares work. For example, today's Promowave is showing a Maryland resident discount on my January cruise. It shows a Suite fare "from" about $300/pax less than the RCCL website is currently showing. The only suite category that shows availability is JS. Perhaps it's major wishingful thinking on my part, but do you think they'd discount my GS even though the GS category is sold out? Is it even worth a call to RCCL? Jim
sally r Posted November 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2006 Yes, call RCL or your travel agent. If you are before final payment you may quailify for the resident rate. It can't hurt to ask.
lori450 Posted November 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2006 How do you find the promowaves for each week. Someone was kind enought to give me a link to the 10/31 promowave, but I don't know how to find them on a regular basis.
suzyluvs2cruise Posted November 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2006 Here's the link to the Promowave. The specials change on Tuesday and you can check each week using the same link. http://www.creative.rccl.com/sales/promowave/RCL

cruisinfanatic Posted November 10, 2006 #7 Share Posted November 10, 2006 GS do not qualify for any discount under the promowaves. There also has to be availability in other categories to be eligible for any discount.
lori450 Posted November 10, 2006 #8 Share Posted November 10, 2006 zus - Thank you so much! I didn't realize they reduce the single supplement sometimes. Wish I had known already. I just pd 200% for an Enchantment cruise for 11/16. If I had known I would have tried to go another day when it was only 150%. Thanks again for taking the time.
