Cruising89143 Posted December 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 18, 2006 I really enjoyed the show tonight and it was nice to see a new cruise show. RCI really does a great job with the cruise specials. Great advertising on their part over and over. Watching this show tonight made me realize just now much I missed the Royal Promenade when I was on the Jewel last week. That to me is one of the best areas on the ship. Good job RCI and Samantha Brown.

Cruising89143 Posted December 18, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 18, 2006 AND... Does Samantha Brown have the best job in the world or what!?!?!?!?!?! That she does and I love to watch her shows on Europe. The show that she did on the Brilliance was also very good. She just does a great job. PH8 Posted December 18, 2006 #6 Share Posted December 18, 2006 Did anyone else notice this?? When Samantha got her pic taken for her seapass,it showed her wearing a red top and she had double straps on(like she had on a backpack) in the machine, but she was wearing a black top and had a purse slung over her shoulder............I keep rewinding it to make sure thats what i saw......... Great show though!
3dogmom Posted December 18, 2006 #7 Share Posted December 18, 2006 That was a great show! Really makes you want to book, doesn't it? I watched the Brilliance show before we did the same itinerary in Europe and it was great to get to preview your cruise.
Pumbaamd Posted December 18, 2006 #8 Share Posted December 18, 2006 Just viewed it. A very good show. OK, it's not all the inner workings of the Freedom that we CC's wanna sea, but let's face it. It's a paid deal with RCL and Travel Channel and they are advertising for new guests. Best of luck to RCL and TC and all the new guests they can bring aboard! And to Samantha, you are a wonderful hostess and go getter girl. Excellent show, Sam!
Esmerelda Posted December 18, 2006 #9 Share Posted December 18, 2006 KUDOS...to Samantha Brown...she is just too darn fun. She does a fantastic job! The Big Booper Posted December 18, 2006 #10 Share Posted December 18, 2006 She and her crew make it look easy but there is a lot of running around and planning to get these effortless-looking segments. And no lines to get on the tenders, either !!
The Big Booper Posted December 18, 2006 #11 Share Posted December 18, 2006 We first saw her filming towards the end of our week. Obviously to get all this filming done they were on 2 or more trips. It takes time to transport the crew to the island locations and set up. To get those sequences on the ship (with very few pax around) they had to shoot when most were off the ship on the islands. But then when did they have time to jump off and do the island sequences? Right, another time. DS who is in TV production explained it all to us. nzggator Posted December 18, 2006 #12 Share Posted December 18, 2006 I have watched both of Samantha Brown browns cruises (Freedom and Brilliance) both very good! She always does a very good job; no matter what it is! Surprising it took this long before she started to do these cruise ventures. Seeing last nights show gets me more excited on my cruise aboard Mariner!! :) If you missed last nights show of Freedom of The Seas it will be re-runned on December 24th @ 10:00PM and December 25th at 1:00AM
