cruiseaholics Posted January 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2007 Since they're equal distance from the stairs/elevators, the only real difference I can think of would be if one is forward of "the hump" and the other aft of "the hump". "The hump" being the part of the ship that bows out. If you're behind it (and if my memory serves :o) you won't be able to see the portion of the bridge that extends out from the sides of the ship. If you're in front of it, you will.
Merion_Mom Posted January 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2007 IMO, six of one, half a dozen of the other. :)
NancyIL Posted January 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2007 You should check to see what is directly above and below both cabins.

here2cruise Posted January 12, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted January 12, 2007 above the forward cabin is the pool and abovw the more aft cabin is the solarium pool area...just worried about the noise also... TA said has never had any complaints about noise on RCI and has on Princess...so hopefully we'll be fine!
wrp96 Posted January 12, 2007 #7 Share Posted January 12, 2007 I would take being under the solarium pool versus under the regular pool.
BDL Posted January 12, 2007 #8 Share Posted January 12, 2007 I agree - take the one under the solarium pool. A few years ago we had a suite under the solarium on Radiance. The only time we heard any noise was one midnight buffet they had up there (chocolate I think). The noise from moving tables and chairs was really annoying, but we figured it was only the one night. There's a lot more activity under the main pool, so I'd take the forward cabin. Good luck -
