which is better?

we have a choice between to junior suites. one is forward 7 cabins from mid ship and the other choise is back 8 from mid ship...theya re both pretty close to being mid ship, but not sure which is better, a little forward or a little aft...

Since they're equal distance from the stairs/elevators, the only real difference I can think of would be if one is forward of "the hump" and the other aft of "the hump". "The hump" being the part of the ship that bows out. If you're behind it (and if my memory serves :o) you won't be able to see the portion of the bridge that extends out from the sides of the ship. If you're in front of it, you will.

above the forward cabin is the pool and abovw the more aft cabin is the solarium pool area...just worried about the noise also... TA said has never had any complaints about noise on RCI and has on Princess...so hopefully we'll be fine!

I would take being under the solarium pool versus under the regular pool.

I agree - take the one under the solarium pool. A few years ago we had a suite under the solarium on Radiance. The only time we heard any noise was one midnight buffet they had up there (chocolate I think). The noise from moving tables and chairs was really annoying, but we figured it was only the one night. There's a lot more activity under the main pool, so I'd take the forward cabin.
