which is better?

Since they're equal distance from the stairs/elevators, the only real difference I can think of would be if one is forward of "the hump" and the other aft of "the hump". "The hump" being the part of the ship that bows out. If you're behind it (and if my memory serves :o) you won't be able to see the portion of the bridge that extends out from the sides of the ship. If you're in front of it, you will.

I agree - take the one under the solarium pool. A few years ago we had a suite under the solarium on Radiance. The only time we heard any noise was one midnight buffet they had up there (chocolate I think). The noise from moving tables and chairs was really annoying, but we figured it was only the one night. There's a lot more activity under the main pool, so I'd take the forward cabin.
