Want Ads from Sunday's Paper

as I am taking the want ads to line my parrots tray in his cage & I notice a half page ad for NCL hiring everybody but a Captain. Interviews are in Cleveland on Thursday. Has to be for a new ship in Hawaii since Americans do not work the other routes for cheap pay.

 

So I started paging thru them to see if RCCL was looking for help...... NOPE

off the subject but try hamster bedding instead of paper. Dont need to change it as often and it looks nicer. My birds eat the paper and pull it up from the bottom of the cage! the bedding worked out great!

Actually RCCL IS looking for help and LOTS of it. Go to their employment site. They have openings for plenty of English speaking Americans. They just aren't advertizing in the paper.

NCL was running their employment ads here recently in the Greenville, SC paper. One of their departure ports is Charleston, SC--about 2.5 hours from here.

NCL has had the ads in the INDY paper on a regular basis. The need quite a few us citizens to fill positions on the "American Flagged" ships.

I use the dried corn pieces - the tiny ones not the larger chunks.

Absorbs and hides lots of things...looks good. No smell.

Also OT....We use to have lovebirds who hated each other. Female pulled all the feathers out of Male's head and he was bald. All they did was fight.

Over the weekend, my DH told me that if i wanted to go on another cruise -anytime soon, that I should get a job.:( He suggested being an online travel agent. I don't have any experience, so that's not going to happen.:rolleyes: I'll just go to work for NCL out of Charleston and see how DH likes the fact that I am on a ship 24/7 while he is at home by himself - cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, etc..:D :D :D

The Kaytee ground nut hulls are nice too, for my cockatiel...keeps dust and dander down, as well as nice-looking amber tone to the hulls. :rolleyes:
