Voyager of the Seas Slots

They change the arrangement of the machines frequently--if the Betty Boop slots are by the door, in a few weeks they may be in a different location! And, the slots are all controlled by computer chip, so just because its "hot" for one night, doesn't mean it will ever be "hot" again!!!

yes, we just came off VOS last Saturday. We did well in the casino. If you like to play nickel slots, look for the Elephant King slot machine, I won 100.00 on this game. My mother plays only quarters she won approx $200.00 on the quarter slot "Tens Times pay" she also won another $200.00 on "Five times pay-red white & blue". Hubby and father up slightly playing Blackjack. Also last nite on boat we all ( 4 of us) put in $10.00 and played the one dollar slot "Triple stars" playing only 1 credit per spin, we ended up winning $350.00. All in all, we all did well or at least broke even. Don't bother wasting money on the penny slots. I played them all week and did'nt win anything. Good Luck!!!

We were on the VOS and came home last Saturday too...did pretty good in the casino but awful on the healthside. We were party of 12 and 2 of our people got sick including my hubby, with the gastro virus. Horrible! Future cruisers watchout for bleachwater sprayed on every wall and bannister on the ship. No warning, it smells and it's just there! I ruined 2 pieces of clothing.

Is there any good recent reference book on slots? While I'm a very technical person by profession, sometimes I look at those slots and have no clue what is good or not good. I just keep pulling the lever and see if the credits go up.

I cant imagine why there would be a book on slots. Now, I do know there are, but it's all B.S. If they know so much on slots, why the need to write a book about it? A book that the casinos can pick up and then learn from and change their ways to make the book pointless. Thus ruining any strategy the person had in the first place.

Being from Vegas I can tell you, THER IS NO STRATEGY FOR SLOT MACHINES. It is all luck of the draw. Old wives tales on location yadda yadda is just that, old wives tales. Keep your money in your pocket and if you need to gamble, go play some poker or blackjack

We were a party of 5 on the same cruise as you were. Last night of cruise (friday) my son & father both got stomach flu--not sure if it was Norwalk, as they were not real sick. Then after we got off the boat on Saturday, I was sick with same virus till Monday morning. We thought it might have been the Bordelaise sauce on steak Friday night. As we were the only 3 to have had steak friday night.---Anyway, we had a great cruise, and thats all that really matters. Even if were did get a little sick, at least it was'nt till the very last nite. We enjoyed the cruise so much, we booked another on the Adventure of the Seas, for Oct 7 2007. Can't Wait!!!
