Things I'll never do again on a cruise...

I'll never go on a major diet before a cruise, just to eat like a pig and gain that plus more back on...still trying to get back to what I was before I lost weight for 2 cruises ago...

I'll never pack 7 sets of daytime wear, when I know I wear my bathing suit, coverup, shorts, or tank...not a real outfit during the day!

I'll never not do what I want to do when I want to do it just because I might miss something else, if I want to nap, nap it is, if I want to listen to music, thats what I will do, etc...

I will never again..

Bring my father ( in his 50's) to the Quest and spend the rest of the cruise trying to keep my mother occupied so she didnt see the repeats on TV and the Cruise in Review!

I will never again..

Pack everything I own because I might need it

I will never again...

Say I will only spend $20.00 in the casino and only bring $20.00 cash

Happy cruising!

I will never buy one of those Passport to Savings shopping books again.

I will never ride the ferry boat in Cozumel again. Unless of course I want to count the number of people getting sea sick just for sport. ;)

I will never attempt to climb the rock wall after some 5 year old or 80 year old has just mastered it, making me look bad when I can't drag my fat rear end more than halfway up the thing. :D

I will never jump on the trampoline's on Enchantment after filling up at the Windjammer buffet.

I will never....

1) Go to those shopping lectures they have before the port. "You MUST buy your watches in Ocho Rios. People are aways asking me, Andre what is your #1 piece of advice on this cruise, and it is this, 'If you see and you like it buy it, cause you know what? You deserve it." G'Day Andre, Shopping Director on our Celebrity Century cruise.

2) Attend the magic show on Celebrity. The magician on our Century cruise was so bad, you could tell how he was doing each trick. My DH and I had tears in our eyes from laughing so hard.

3) Go out on a snorkeling/swimming with rays boat tour during choppy seas. Phew.

4) "Sail" the Discovery Cruises thinking it would be a fun way to spend a few days in the Bahamas!

salt water removes the spray tan. just not all at once:eek:

Oh man that would be a mess! We just go to the tanning bed for a couple weeks before the cruise so that we can relax on the beach and not burn too bad-- I think I'm going to take your advice and never try the spray tan ;) .

I will not!!!!

* Take as many clothes as I think I will need. This includes shoes and accessories/jewelry. I try my best not to overpack, and I always do! Ugh!!

* Try to do everything on the compass. I know I cannot. I will not make myself crazy trying to do so.

* Miss my daily afternoon nap. I cannot stay up past Midnight and be coherent if I miss my nap!

:D

I will never use the roller-blading track again! As a figure skater, I thought it would be a piece of cake, but there's a BIG difference between having toepicks at the front of your skate and having a wheel at the front of the skate. Every time I put pressure toward the front of the skate, it rolled out from under me, and I fell flat on my face! :o

Race to dinner a little early every night just so I can stand outside closed doors waiting for them to open. My table will be there if I don’t go down until the designated time and they are not going to run out of food.

This made me spit out my soda! I have always wondered why I do that as well, so I vow - never again.

Never again will I pack all of my exercise gear knowing full well that one lap around the deck in seven days is not exercise.

We just got back from a Belize city tour and it was so depressing and there is really nothing there but dirt roads and pot holes and poverty.

Alot of the government has moved to the interior captial as the Hurricane threat was too large for them to remain. they have no self support, they dont farm, nor have a product to market. Everything had to be imported...they do have the tourism trade. but it is not right in Belize City proper...

I will never, ever wear another two-piece heavily beaded dress with weak elastic in the waist of the skirt...(think of a heap of beads around your feet!)

Nor will I ever again get a spray-on tan before a cruise... !

And I will never pass up doing things I really want to do because my family/friends want me to do something different.

Cindy

Amen to doing what you want despite family and friends. Boy have I ever been there done that, and lived to regret it.

I will never stand in line for dinner in the dining room again. (first cruise) I will never stand in line to look at the midnight buffet again. (do they still have those)?

Worry about if everyone in my family is having a GREAT time. I have learned that they need to make their own great time...

I also never ever will get a spray on tan before leaving on a cruise :( The towels were always brown after a shower and I never really even got a tan!!

I will never go to every day of Bingo (okay maybe I will) knowing that that day will be the day that I finally win something...:p

YES... I ditto looking at the Sea Pass charge. |Definitely do not do it even during the cruise...hubby might have lied on casino charges and it's not fun to be mad at him during the cruise. That can wait until you're home. LOL.

this is our first cruise. what are the casino charges for? don't you bring your own cash to gamble or is that on the pass too? :D

You can bring your own cash, but once that's used up, you can use your pass to get more... and more... and more.

They are talking about their husbands getting cash through their seapass at the casino to gamble with. You will find out that EVERYTHING is on the seapass (except for tips for room service because room service is free and you should tip them cash). :p

I will never...

1) Get a fake tan- the orange color was beautiful, but only on a pumpkin. Two days later I developed a rash...looked like a pumpkin with acne from head to toe!! My family still loves that one! :o

2) Let my husband self-medicate to prevent sea sickness- One our first cruise, he was wearing the patches and "just in case" those did not work, he was taking a Dramamine here, a Dramamine there. By day 3 of the cruise, he acted like he had Alzehimers or Dementia...Got lost on the ship, could not find his room-kept losing stuff-completely confused.

3) Buy those shopping guides AND then spend a ton of time in port searching for all the free stuff which is total CRAP!!

4) Lug the free CRAP home to just throw it away when unpacking

Ok I will "TRY "not to take every pair of black shoes! I think I had 12 pair last cruise of just black shoes. But, us women know each black pair has just a little something different that goes with each outfit so how do we decide which ones to take? I will Try, I will Try I will Try!! ;)

I will never wander around on a sea day looking for a chair near the pool when half of them were never sat in by chair hogs! I will wait a respectable time then move their stuff and sit down!

Don't try it, they get MAD.I did it on my last cruise. The people had been gone for three hours and we were sitting in two of those terrible regular chairs, so I took their stuff and moved it from their lounge chairs to our regular chairs. When they got back after 4 hours of being gone, the lady had the nerve to walk up to me and tell me off about moving their stuff.

It was worth it and they left, but I don't know that I would do it again :D.
