Champagne Card

Recommended Posts

We were on the Adventure on 29 April and purchased a champagne card at, where else, the Champagne Bar. For $43.00 plus tip, you received 10 champagne cocktails from a selection of 8 or so. We are wondering if any other ship offer this deal?

We purchased them on Explorer, in January. :)

I'll be on Mariner next month. I plan on asking about the Champagne card at the Champagne Bar. I'll report my findings here. :)

Hey Jules, I will race you to the Champagne Bar on the 17th.

Hi:

We were on the Freedom of the Seas for their New Years Eve Cruise, and I asked in the Champagne Bar and was told that they no longer have them, it's a thing of the past. Freedom being a new ship and it was their first New Years Eve cruise, I would have thought they would have had champagne cards.

We were greeted with a free glass of champagne as we came onboard the ship. Out of all my RCCL cruises (14) and several of them have been New Years Eve cruises, this was the first time that we were greeted with a glass when we came onboard. I drank two as my DH doesn't like champagne. I was disappointed that they didn't have the card though.

Happy Cruising....Sparkle 10 (Anita):)

We're on AOS on 1 July... sounds wonderful and I'll be sure to get one - any other recommendations?

Foolishme: If you plan on eating at Portofino's go there first thing. We booked our reservation just after noon when we boarded and then heard that they were pretty much booked by 2:00 pm. Also don't touch the guy's finger on the promenade by the stairs to the Casino. Sit at the Duck and Dog for a beer and just watch. You wouldn't believe what people do to that poor finger of his. LOL

Was on AOS back in February, the bartenders said RCI was going to update the liquor in the Champagne cocktails and do away with the card. Glad to see that it was still there in April. Hope it stays for next April. :D BTW, the bartenders at the Champagne bar seem to be some of the friendliest on the ship.

Silky...no other drink cards except for champagne cocktails and soda cards.

FYI -

We have been on Mariner twice in the last few months - no champagne card there, nor do they have any idea what you are talking about when you ask. We were on Adventure last Oct and they had them there. Must be a ship by ship thing only.
