Best Western in San Diego

I'm trying to find a hotel for the day before and park our car. We are leaving on the Dawn, November 11. I checked BW Bayside Inn and they want $200 plus tax. Then I found BW Seven Seas for $99 and they keep our car, plus the shuttle. It is farther away (about 10 minutes). Has anyone used this place? Any info would be great.

The Seven Seas is an OK (not great) motel in the Mission Valley area, right at the intersection of the 8 and 163 freeways. Nothing to do around there, and no really good places to eat nearby, but if you only want a place to sleep, it should be OK. Are they willing to shuttle you to the port? It is about 5 miles.

We stayed BW 7 Seas last November. Yes, they do shuttle back and forth from the pier. They have a restaurant and bar on site. The restaurant food was very good. The place was clean and for $100 less I would do it again. We have stayed at Bayside Inn numerous times and their prices are just getting outragous (sp).

When you check in, also reserve your time for the shuttle.
