cruzin w chris Posted August 5, 2007 #26 Share Posted August 5, 2007 my best tip or advise would be to do whatever you want, wear whatever you want, and just be yourselves at all times on your amazing vacation. have a great time !!!!!!!!
richbum Posted August 5, 2007 #27 Share Posted August 5, 2007 I would have to second what others have said. 1. Be nice to those on the ship...They are humans not servants 2. It is vacation, enjoy it, just keep in mind, you aren't at work 3. Do you homework...this sight has taught me lots about cruising. 4. Meet new people on your ship before you go, (roll calls) maybe those friendships will last a lifetime and give you someone new to hang w/if your family is driving you CRAZY:eek: . And lastly, have fun:D
May4 Posted August 5, 2007 #28 Share Posted August 5, 2007 Be open to new experiences. A kind word goes a long way. Keep up with at least a few healthy habits. Take a nap if you need one. Enjoy fresh fruit and veggies. Eat lightly (then eat again soon:) There's always more!) Wash your hands. Be still and watch the ocean. Dig the fact you are on a ship and not toiling in the salt mines.
acquaboi Posted August 7, 2007 #29 Share Posted August 7, 2007 1. Daily say "Hello" or "See you later!" to crew staff. 2. Daily say "Hello" to someone on the cruise whom you have never spoken to before. 3. Decorate the door, the inside sitting area, and yourself! -- Leave the "looking like a slob" mentality until you get back home. 4. Tip well and often you will be remembered! 5. Cruise like it is your first time and not your 10th! Enjoy your cruise!
TeaBag Posted August 7, 2007 #30 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Fly in to the embarkation city the day before so you can get on the ship relaxed. I love the tip about treating those working on the ship as humans and not servants. Try not to complain about anything unless it is a very big problem. Instead, see the bright side, after all you're on a cruise, how bad can it really be?
zuscruiserz Posted August 7, 2007 #31 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Go with the flow! Sometimes things don't work out exactly as planned, but that's ok - you're on vacation :D !
