2008/09 Princess Hawaiian Cruise only 14 days!

 Why has Princess dropped Kona off the Hawaiian itinerary, reduced the number of days in Hawaii, and the total length of the cruise to 14 days. It was always a long trip with many sea days, but you got 5 days in the islands. Now it will be the same number of sea days, but only 4 days in the islands. Price doen't seem to be any cheaper.

Arnold...I am not sure what you were looking at because we are confirmed for Feb 2008 for a 15 day RT LA Hawii cruise that includes Kona. We will be on the Diamond Princess...check out the Princess site. http://www.Princess.com

It is a great cruise we did this cruise 3 years ago and are doing it again. Love those sea days!!!

I should have made it clear that I was concerned about the Sept 08-Apr 09 Golden Princess Cruise's that have been reduced to 14 days. We have also been to Hawaii twice on the Island Princess and really enjoyed both cruises!

I'm bummed about this too. On our Hawaiian cruise, we had to skip Kona because of high waves. I figured one day we could do this again, but we weren't able to book a cruise last year or this year. In fact, yesterday, my hubby says the Hawaiian cruise was his favorite so far, because of the length of the cruise and the number of sea days.

Maybe they need to accommodate the port schedules and sail a specific day of the week. 14 days allows that, 15 doesnt.
