I keep reading about pax. What is PAX?

Will all the ports we visit take US $?

(Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, Grand Turk, San Juan)

When you go to St. Thomas and San Juan you aren't leaving the United States so all they take are US$

TrueCruiser,

That's where I saw the word PAX first -- in one of your posts. Just wasn't sure and didn't want to assume anything. In my mind, I was thinking they would say people instead of passengers and people I've seen abbreviated as ppl, but there's no X in passengers, so pax didn't seem to fit.

DUH!:)

In the real world PAX

1. Ecclesiastical a. A small flat tablet adorned with a sacred image that worshippers kiss when offered the kiss of peace.

b. The kiss of peace.

2. Pax A time of wide-ranging stability when there is only a single dominant power.

Only on Cruise Critic pax=passenger
