Yes it is.....I believe it was the 7 or 8.....it doesn't have a deck of mini's like the older ones had.....either way, we loved those ships!!!

Yes, the former R8, and then she was Swan Hellenic's Minerva II before joining Princess earlier this year.

Yes, it is. We have been on the Pacific & Tahitian & loved both. We will be on the Royal next month, Can't wait.

We loved Pacific Princess (Alaska, 9/7-12 2007) and when we went to book a future cruise, we couldn't decide what we wanted to do (so we just left it open). We did discover that the Royal doesn't have any mini-suites, which is how it fits on more people:p We know that we'll be on one of these gems in the very near future--it's the perfect size ship for us!
