sail7seas Posted August 31, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2004 RuthC Chocolate: the most important of the food groups [/Quote] Just in case you did not hear the news..... It has been announced that Dark Chocolate is now being promoted as healthy....heart healthy at that!!! Seems chemicals in dark chocolate enlarge arteries therefore allowing better blood flow. You now have even more reason to 'indulge and enjoy'. :)

sail7seas Posted August 31, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted August 31, 2004 ......all our news stations and newspapers as well. :) I guess it falls into the "good news" category. :)
lipoppop Posted August 31, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2004 And if Godiva would start to make the cranberry truffles again and HAL would serve them I could get the DW to take an extra cruise or two.
RuthC Posted August 31, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 31, 2004 Last year John Mulvaney was executive chef on my cruise. One night sugar-free chocolate jello was on the dessert menu. Chocolate jello? Of course I tried it; it was awful. John was in the dining room as I left so I stopped and suggested he lose the recipe. :( The next day he saw me when I was alone and he asked what was wrong with the jello. He sincerely wanted to know---was taking notes---so that it could be improved. Perhaps in thanks he sent a lovely tray of (sugar-free) chocolate truffles to me. They were delicious! :D To top it off he prepared a box to go home with me. :) Seemed to extend the cruise for as long as they lasted. It's this kind of treatment that does make me book another cruise.

Well, KK, if we're ever on the same cruise---and I have some---I'll share. :) K? longtimecruiser---thanks anyway, but no thanks. I appreciate the offer---and I'm sure you worked very hard duplicating the recipe---but mailing it up to me it could get messy. Please, just share it with your mom.
