I've got pictures of when the Imagination left someone in Calica this past June. The ship did wait for about 5 minutes after the time we were supposed to set sail but she didn't show up until after the ship had pulled away. She hopped into a pilot boat and caught up to the ship. Wonder how much that cost?

I'm not sure just how close ships really are there, anybody have a guess? 40 or 50 feet? Too much? Not enough? :eek: :confused:

We were on the Paradise last year and were delayed leaving by about 45 minutes because they were waiting for a guy who was drunk and came stumbling down the road yelling (security had to just about carry him the last bit). Someone with him was standing outside the ship with security and a couple Carnival employees trying to get them not to leave his buddy/relative and was on and off his cellphone. Everyone was yelling from the railings to just leave him since the scheduled departure was already a late one, 10 p.m., and folks were waiting to get into the casino. When the guy finally showed up and started onto the ship, everyone who had been watching yelled in unison a**hole!!! He bowed like he thought it was a good thing!
