I just got an email from the elderly lady's daughter. Thanks to an anonymous donor and others, the lady and her friend are on the ship for their Alaska Dream Cruise!

 

The daughter will send pictures when she can.

 

What a wonderful story!

I truly hopes she enjoys her cruise so much more then usual due to the amount of people and generosity that went into her second chance. :D

I received an update in the form of an email from the lady's daughter. I posted it today to show that there are so many good people in this world willing to share with others less fortunate. It is rare to find stories today that have such happy endings.

Glad to hear she will be able to go to Alaska thanks to some generous donors. Lesson learned. Purchase travel insurance.
