Best Transportation from San Pedro Pier to Long Beach Airport. What do you recommend and how much is it? Ship offers bus service for $26.00 x 2. Wondering if that's the best way to do it? Time shouldn't be an issue. Can private cars etc pick you up conveniently or is it a hassle? Thanks

If you take the cruise shuttle, you will have to wait for the bus to fill up for them to leave. Sometimes that can be quite a wait.

 

A commercial shuttle can be arranged shared (several stops on the way) or exclusive, or you can arrange a private town car. You can do all three through http://www.supershuttle.com and check prices and book ahead of time, or take your chances and wait on the curb for a shared shuttle. Private town cars meet you in the same area.

 

A cab will run you about $56 one way, and of course may have limited luggage space depending on your party.

I think I've seen that a taxi would cost about $35 from San Pedro to Long Beach Airport??

The cost of a tax between Long Beach Airport and San Pedro is $40.00. If there are only two of you that will work well.

 

You could consider a shuttle. With only two of you they will add others to the shuttle so it will take longer to get there but if time is not an issue you could consider that. There are many shuttle companies but to check prices go to http://www.supershuttle.com

 

You can then contact them on their toll free number to get a quote.

 

On their web site you will see that they also offer a private car service called Execucar. We have used them several times. You can also get a price quote from them.
