No smoking night

On the Majesty last week, 12/24-12/28 we actually had a no smoking night in the casino. I didn't think they would pull it off, but they did.

Enchantment had a no smoking night in the casino on their Dec. 10th sailing as well. It was wonderful and the casino was heavily attended.

Glad to hear the non-smokers are turning out in numbers on a lot of these no-smoking nights. Bodes well for the trend to expand.

Well, I go to one of those 2 casino's in CT. also and I play all over the place...the non-smoking section at the largest casino in CT. is so darn cold NO ONE wants to be in there.

 

That is very true! I was in the non-smoking part a couple of weeks ago to get away from the crowds and it was freezing in there. It was also next to impossible to get a drink in that section.

I think it is also true that the majority of gamblers are smokers. .

 

Highly unlikely. I think that is the same misconception as with drinkers/smoking.

I am very glad to hear it. I wish that I could have reported the same experience during our December 6th cruise on Enchantment but sadly it was not the case. Let's hope that my experience was an anomoly and that RCI will be encouraged to offer more nights in the casino that are non-smoking.:)

While it it true that the majority of cruise passengers do not smoke, I think it is also true that the majority of gamblers are smokers. At the casino I go to in CT, they have a huge non-smoking room for slots, it has the same games as the smoking area and the non-smoking is almost always empty while at the sme time you cannot get a seat in the smoking room.

 

Is that an Indian casino that sells cheap smokes?
