Another Seattle to Vancouver Question

Our plane arrives in Seattle at noon the day before our cruise sails. We would like to head straight over to Vancouver and spend the night.

Leaving at noon (we'll miss the train), what would be the best option for getting to Vancouver? Renting a car and driving or taking a bus?

Thanks!

Either option would work out fine. The bus we always take (we live in Vancouver and often pop down to Seattle) is the Quick Shuttle www.quickcoach.com It takes about 4 hours and, in my opinion, is far more favorable to driving. The driver usually asks where you want to get off in Vancouver and will drop you right at the door of the hotel (or wherever). We drove once and got held up at the border for quite a while (of course, this can happen with the bus, too, but never has yet!), not to mention the hassles of doing the actual driving. After a flight, it certainly isn't something I would want to do - I would prefer to get on a bus and go to sleep for a few hours. The bus picks up at the airport, too!
