Princess Site is Totally Down

I just tried to get onto Princess's site.

It's totally down.

Not even a message saying an error occurred.

Can anyone try.

Sandy I just went into Princess site and accessed my Cruise Personalizer and had no problems.

No problems here with the Princess site.

I can also access it. It may be an ISP routing issue. You may want to contact your ISP.

I had issues a couple of days ago, but it cleared up in 20 minutes. I've had issues in the past also, but I can't recall if there is any particular time of day. What I'm thinking is that there some sort of automated process that occurs, like batch processing of some sort, and during the peak time, the website has "challenges", or perhaps they simply take it offline, so that they can do a batch, without anyone going in and changing anything??

 

Of course, all just speculation on my part. :p

Just accessed My Princess without any problems. Perhaps it was just a temporary glitch. That happens. :)

It's down 50% of the times that i attempt to log on to Cruise Personalizer. But I always can get in later. I just keep trying back. Lots of good theories here as to why it would happen. Smart Critics!

princess normally takes their site down around 11 pm easten time. i don't know how long it stays down but have found 11 pm to be the start of princess site problems

Exactly. It happens. Temporary glitches occur all the time for many reasons. Most times it is a local routing that doesn't impact 99.9999 percent of the internet. There is no need for individuals to start threads on Cruise Critic every time they can't connect to a web site.

The Princess Site was down Saturday evening until 8:00 PM Pacific time for "Scheduled Maintenace".

 

I received a full page message when I tried to access the site yesterday afternoon explaining the site was being updated.
