Lynn427 Posted February 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2008 Celebrity said that because they added the fuel surcharge, each stateroom would receive 'one logo item'. Anyone that has sailed after February 1st should have received one. What is it and when did you get it? I posted the same question on the Royal Caribbean boards and they received a cook book. I was wondering if Celebrity is giving the same thing.
jackdiamond Posted February 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2008 We were on the Radiance of the Seas from February 2-10; and, we did not receive a cook book. However, we were not required to pay the surcharge, which might explain the lack of a cookbook. Anyhoo, who needs another cook book.
wolfshadow Posted February 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2008 Someone posted a link to a Celebrity article that said everyone who had booked prior to November 16th and then still paid for their cruise in full would get a free logo'd item. Can't remember when it said that would start though.
ILVMM Posted February 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 24, 2008 I sail on Friday 2/29 for 10 days on Constellation. Will get back to you on this question of logo gift!

Flipflopsnfrozendrinks Posted February 24, 2008 #10 Share Posted February 24, 2008 We were on Constellation Feb 8-18. We got a picnic blanket. Not bad, we live in a beach area, so we will definately get some use out of it. Plus, going to the kids' baseball games...very usefull for our family. gracecarmo Posted February 24, 2008 #12 Share Posted February 24, 2008 We were on the Connie, 2-08. We also got the beach blanket, however I am not really sure it can be called that. On one side it is a felt like material, and on the other side it is a black vinal material. It could also be a type of luggage blanket that you put on the bed under your suitcase. Anyway, we did not have room for it and left it.
chrismch Posted February 25, 2008 #13 Share Posted February 25, 2008 It will be interesting to see if we get a "gift" in May. As many people will be annoyed getting on the ship as it doesn't even reach port for boarding until 7pm (at best). They will need something else to placate pax! Jade13 Posted February 25, 2008 #14 Share Posted February 25, 2008 2/18/08 Century received the blanket. I have not opened it up so do not know the size. Does anyone know how much this sold for?

So if you go to the music in the park and sit on damp grass you will stay dry.:D
MEcruzr Posted February 25, 2008 #17 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Just back (today) from the Millie 2/17 cruise. We got a small cloth tote bag... about the size of a 3-ring binder... it has a water bottle pocket on one end.
momcuoz Posted February 26, 2008 #18 Share Posted February 26, 2008 We completed the NZ and Australia cruise 2/03-2/18 on the Mercury and we received 2 water bottle insulated holders. We figure the value of these holders total $140.00. Such a deal?

We just refinished our floors, and the poor old boy is sick of wearing those pesky diapers. Anyone who wants to re-gift...send them my way...please!:D
Lsimon Posted February 26, 2008 #20 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Just curious - did you receive the items early, for use during cruise, or as a parting gift? A couple of the items mentioned might come in handy during the cruise.

ILVMM Posted March 15, 2008 #23 Share Posted March 15, 2008 was the blanket (one side pleather and the other soft, plaid material. It folds/rolls up nicely. Someone asked if we had to send it back since Royal Caribbean (and, thus, Celebrity) is refunding our fuel surcharges. We were told we do not have to return it. I kind of like it! Ohiosuzyq Posted March 15, 2008 #25 Share Posted March 15, 2008 Who wants a "gift" that they don't really want? Why don't they just credit everyone's onboard account and let cruisers decide how they want to spend "their" money? Maybe I'd rather have a massage than a fanny pack!
