midwest917 Posted February 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Can anyone tell me if CC cabin 8172 (aft/panorama deck) on the INFINITY has the same size balcony as the CC cabins one deck below. We were on the INFINITY last year just below cabin 8172 and LOVED the size of the baclony.
Lsimon Posted February 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2008 I've heard they are a couple of feet shorter on each deck as you go up from 7 to 9, but the difference is not very noticeable. All the aft M class cabins have those huge wonderful verandas. Here is a peek at 8170 to get your excitement level up a bit:
xamsx Posted February 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Thanks Lsimon. We actually booked 8170 for Alaska in September. :)

Coco Creek Posted February 27, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2008 We're booked in 7206, aft on the Vista Deck. Is the veranda and view pretty much the same as the Deck 8 video showed? If so, count me as a happy guy.
golfnkitties Posted February 27, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2008 View is the same, if not a tad bit better ! You'll be closer to the water. :) We have had 7208 several times and it's grrrreat ! You will now be an "Official" Aft Dweller, so enjoy !

Rare ORV Posted February 27, 2008 #8 Share Posted February 27, 2008 I tried to get one of these on our upcoming 15 day trip this fall. No such luck though.
Rare DrKoob Posted February 28, 2008 #9 Share Posted February 28, 2008 We have sailed in an Aft cabin (including this one) five times on Infinity. We've been on all decks. Eight is our fave. Less noise from above than on nine and not as far to walk to the buffet for breakfast than from seven. You will love it. Anyone on the August 29th cruise? We are looking for folks on our roll call at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=686579
Rare mahdnc Posted February 28, 2008 #10 Share Posted February 28, 2008 Can anyone tell me if CC cabin 8172 (aft/panorama deck) on the INFINITY has the same size balcony as the CC cabins one deck below. We were on the INFINITY last year just below cabin 8172 and LOVED the size of the baclony. I measured the aft balcony depth on Deck 7 (Millennium) and Deck 8 (Infinity). The Deck 7 balcony was 3 feet longer than Deck 8.

We were on the INFINITY last year just below cabin 8172 and LOVED the size of the baclony. We had this cabin for 2 weeks on our Panama Canal cruise & loved it!! Thanx for showing me what we'll be seeing starting June 6th on Millie. This will be our cabin. Doing a cruisetour with land first starting in Fairbanks. We can't wait, I'm already getting excited! jerseygirl3 Posted March 6, 2008 #14 Share Posted March 6, 2008 Gee, Cabin 8170 seems to be very popular. We'll be in that cabin, too, but on the Constellation 11 night sailing from Bayonne this October.
