Post-Cruise Equilibrium

Search is still down so hope someone can answer this for me. Just finished our first cruise on Sunday - had some pretty rocky days and nights, but nothing we couldn't handle. In fact, no seasickness at all. However, for the past two days it feels like my house is going through some rough seas whenever I sit or stand still. When will this stop?

Sometimes it lasts a few days. I always take Bonine that I use for sea sickness a couple of days after I get home......so far no swaying :D

Welcome to the wonderful world of Mal de Debarquement:rolleyes:

I rather enjoy the occasional feeling for a week or 10 days after getting back from a cruise. However, in some rare cases it can last years.

For more info, Click Here. Or google Mal de Debarquement.

I took Ginger capsules for the first time on my December cruise (along with Bonine) and had absolutely no problems, and there was quite a bit of motion.

I continued the Ginger only for 2 days post-cruise and, for the first time, had no post-cruise issues, either.
