Did Sudi ever work on the Mercury?

I seem to recall a bartender on the Mercury, a few years back, that sounds like Sudi.

I originally met Sudi on Constellation in Dec 2004.

I have sailed Mercury 5 times and have never seen

him on that ship.

Of course the ship has been in the fleet since 1997

so maybe he was bartender on her way back when.

 

Most recently he has been on Century and it was

really good to see him again:D

I'll have to look for him on the Century next week and see if he's the same one I'm thinking of. This was before 2004 but I can't remember when. (those dang martinis!.......okay, maybe it's age) :D

We met Sudi on Constellation in Dec 2005. He told us he was going to a bartenders competition and then a new ship sometime in 2006.

I think we were on the Summit when we first met Sudi several years back. Then it was a few times while we were on the Century and once on the Constellation. In the beginning of December '06, we sailed on the Century and Sudi left the ship when we did. He went home to Bali to start a tour business there. His friend, Putu, who is also from Bali took over bartending for him on the Century. Then Putu went on vacation and came back to the Century this past June, so I was surprised to find out that Sudi is again back at the martini bar. My daughter and her family will be sailing on the ship starting Monday, so she will get to tell him we said hi (wish we could go with them).

What are the chances of Celebrity moving Sudi to the Solstice when it enters service? We're booking on the new ship for January and we'd love to see Sudi.
