fla gang Posted October 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2004 While on the Pride 2 years ago, sushi was served at the buffet daily. So, do they offer it on the Miracle as well? Don't tell me NO!!!! Barry ps: nothing like good ol raw tuna
SevenVII Posted October 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Sorry, cant help you about the Miracle but I had the same concern about the Sushi on the Ecstasy, needless to say there is a sushi bar on that ship. Good luck on finding the answer on Miracle! :D
cyndepet Posted October 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2004 I saw an earlier review that talked about the availability of sushi on the Miracle. Apparently, the sushi bar is set up in an out of the way place each evening (5 - 7?) and isn't well advertised. If you do a search on Miracle reviews, I'm sure you'll find it. kdvolfan Posted October 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Yes. It is near the coffee bar (Fountainhead maybe?). It is only served in the evening before dinner. The previous poster is right about it not being very well advertised. Enjoy.
Snowball Posted October 1, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Yes, the sushi bar is located at a little kiosk that is outside of Maguire's Bar on Deck 2. I'm not sure what the hours are - just check your capers. Enjoy! :)
Ms Belvedere Posted October 1, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2004 They served Saki at the bar (McGuires) for 2.00 a cup. The sushi was better on the Miracle than the Glory, more variety. The Sushi Chef's name was Larry when we were on, and he was a real sweety. We took his picture and then developed it in our room and gave him two copies, I also tipped him since he gave us such great service. :)
fla gang Posted October 2, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted October 2, 2004 Thanks everyone for the info. Myself and some friends will be on the 2 night cruise from Tampa. Did they also offer sushi at the Asian corner buffet, or does this ship not do the Asian buffet??? Barry
neverenufcruising Posted October 2, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 2, 2004 For the absolute best sushi, you should try RCCL's Jewel of the Seas. I hear their's is really fresh. Now the way they make it is a bit unusual. Their method is what we'd call Road Kill here in the South.:p Oh, wait...a whale is a mammal, never mind ;)

vermonter16 Posted October 5, 2004 #10 Share Posted October 5, 2004 So if the sushi bar is on deck 2 does that mean that I have to endure a room of sushi while my DH eats his little heart out??? Can you load up and then take it up to the buffet?

Can you load up and then take it up to the buffet? It was on a cart when we were on the Miracle in April, and the cart looked mobile, with wheels. They may wheel it away at night. It's in the public area, not in a room and you could easily get a plate or two and take it elsewhere to eat. HTH
